Eligibility of Application

Applicants with poor family background, good academic performance, and physically healthy
Applicants must be admitted by taking the examinations of universities or colleges recognized by the government
Applicants’ family stayed at Kedah, Malaysia and the applicants must be Malaysian citizens
Applicants who have received other scholarships are not allowed to apply
Applicants in respect of race should be certified and recommended by J.P., President of Societies or Chairman of the Board of Governors of any school in order to be eligible to apply for study loan

Applicants’ most recent passport size photo
Applicants’ copy of school testimonial
Applicants’ copy of university’s approval letter
Applicants’ copy of SPM result
Applicants’ copy of STPM result
Applicants who already studying in university are required to submit their copy of examination results of each year in university

Procedure for Application

Applicants are required to submit the application form and relevant documents stated on or before the closing date for approval. Any incomplete application form will not be considered
All selected applicants must submit verification documents and sign the contract to the committee within three weeks of receiving the notice. If the application is overdue, it will be considered as a waiver, and the vacancies will be filled in order
All scholarship recipients must report their examination results and testimonial for the semester and of each year to the committee for review. If the conduct is poor, academic performance is unsatisfactory, or the student drops out, the scholarship will be cancelled
Those who have received a student loan from the Association must reapply every year as usual, and the application form must be obtained from the Chamber of Commerce Secretariat. If the committee considers it qualified, they may continue to support it
Every recipient of loan shall resubmit an application every year and the loan shall be further granted if the applicant is found to have complied with all the requirements. Application form is available at the Secretariat office
Grantees must have a witness together with their signature when receiving the bonus
